Executive Director of Inspired Foresight, Dr. Facca-Miess is also an Assistant Professor of Marketing at John Carroll University in the Boler School of Business. Dr. Facca-Miess' areas of research interest include applied statistics, marketing education, social innovation research, and social entrepreneurship. Her industry experience includes executive marketing positions with multinational franchised firms in varied industries including foodservice, hospitality and executive recruiting. Dr. Facca-Miess earned her Ph.D. in Economics at Göttingen University, Germany. She holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Case Western Reserve University as well as a Master of Applied Communication Theory and Methodology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cleveland State University.
Dr. Facca-Miess serves as President-Elect of the Colleagues in Jesuit Business Education (CJBE), Chair of Jesuit Friends and Alumni Network (JFAN), and on the board of the Jesuit Retreat House (Parma, OH, USA).

Teaching innovations include experiential service learning in the context of for-profit corporations, non-profits, entrepreneurship, or social enterprise using an Ignatian Pedagogy which features the nearly 500-year-old education process of understanding context, experience, reflection, analysis, and evaluation. Her areas of research interest include applied statistics, marketing education, marketing ethics, social innovation research, and social entrepreneurship.

Her experience includes executive marketing positions with multinational franchised firms in varied industries including foodservice, hospitality and executive recruiting.
The idea for Inspired Foresight came from extensive discernment on how to offer highly professionalized services for those working toward the greater good.
